What does your communication style tell you about your conversation pattern? my pattern:  Starting with advocacy, I stated my opinion based on all my knowledge that I could prepare at that time. I tried to show my effort and take the opinion from my senior officer. In middle term, I just obeyed a correction order from my senior. He was so aggressive that I couldn't continue to communicate. Ending with withdraw, I mean " compromise",  (because of rank of senior officer and rudeness); my preparedness was not sufficient 2. What changes would you make to your pattern to bring it into alignment with Model II assumptions? If I could, Id like to change my boss. I believe it is the best way to solve the problem on communication. There are, however, a lot of stupid senior and limited condition in terms of time in the world. Therefore, I'd like to make change to sharing control and make more time to think through grading of evaluations.  if senior officer uses Model I then I must plan more. And now, I have no idea about in such a case. 3. How will knowing your conversation style be helpful in future management / leadership assignments? I knew that my style was really typical of a young officer who just follows the senior's direction and opinions.  Knowing more now, It allows me to add some bigger view point if I can plan more. For example, "yes, sir. I think so too, however, there is another way that could be good for these reasons. " I can speak and communicate more about topic with senior, if I plan more. I believe, However, we have to just obey and stand order like a model 1 because we are military people and sometime we face the situation needs quick decision. So all we could do is to prepare and train for such situations. the most important thing is learning both of model 1,2 and take advantage of model 2 as possible as we can. sincerely こちらの大学でうまくやるためには、教授の言うことが絶対であり、それに従うことと教えられたため、とにかく質問されれば、頑張ってメール返信してますが、、内容が伴わない笑 この人のテストをうまく乗り越えられるか、本当に不安である。 経済学のテスト勉強 グループで集まり試験対策 ありがたやー！ こうやって書いてくれると分かりやすい。 てか、こんな簡単なことは喋ってただけなのか。。 言語の壁って大きいな。 ITのテスト これこそ、こんな簡単なことをテストするの？って感じですが、英語で定義を答えろと言われると、非常に困ります。 back up methodsやraid は、定義と計算の両方が必要でした。 日本だとお決まりである、二進法の計算はしない笑 マックスが255と分かっていれば、全てとけてしまう笑 IPアドレスとか、なんとか、 基本的に、日本語で概念を理解していなければ、英語で説明されても理解することができませんでした。 これは文章で書いてあっても同じことです。 つまりすでに日本語で学習している分野は、試験対策を書いてもらい、練習問題を解いておけば十分に試験対応が可能だとわかりました。 必要なのは、図々しさだけ。悟りました笑 問題なのは日本語で学習したことのない分野です。 未だに英語を英語のまま理解することが難しいため、知ってる単語だけを使って言われても、何を言っているのかがよく分かりません。 もちろん講義は知らない単語だらけなのでさっぱり意味がわかりません。はぁ、、どうしたもんかな。 このままでは、日本語で同じ内容の講義を先に予習しなくてはいけない。でもそういうことをすると、英語能力の習得に非常に不利。 うーーーーーん悩む。
